Dahla is such a beautiful, cozy gem! The space is small and intimate with outdoor seating that sets the perfect vibe. The staff was super welcoming and attentive from the moment I walked in. I ordered the spicy drunken noodles and they were very well seasoned. My only change would be having the veggies sautéed a bit longer for a tender bite. I am already plotting my return for happy hour and to try their dessert menu!

My coworkers and I decided to dine here after work based on a couple of local recommendations. Just a few blocks from our office, Dahla is an easy, comfortable walk. Upon arriving shortly after 6pm on a Thursday, we were grateful to find plenty of seating at this small, intimate restaurant. We were seated immediately and were able to take advantage of the happy hour drinks. The interior of the restaurant is warm, inviting and friendly - perfect atmosphere for a casual dinner with easy conversation. I ordered a lychee mojito and it was not my favorite. There were crushed lychee in the bottom of the drink and it's served with sippy straws so it was a bit tough to drink. I've never seen a lychee mojito offered and in retrospect, I think the combination should not exist. On to the food! We ordered the crab ragoon and OMG these are really, really good. I may have been a bit too obsessed with them because I ended up eating 4 of them on my own. I love the shape of the little crispy pockets and the filling - sooo good! Based on the server's recommendation, I ordered the Crispy Duck Basil - Crispy duck, zucchini, carrots, onions, Thai basil, green & red peppers. This dish was very, very good. The duck was perfectly crispy and although it was a bit dry, the sauce was a nice accompaniment. The vegetables were a bit overcooked for my liking. The sauce is good but not the most versatile flavor profile -- it could have had a bit more contrast of flavors. One of the complaints of the table is the dishes are not spicy enough even when we ordered dishes with 3-4 chili peppers on the menu or increased the level to "Thai hot". The server told us to order 2x or 3x Thai hot in the future. A bit misleading, but I digress. We were offered the hot sauce trio, containing a few varieties to add more spice to our dishes but I wish they could just cook our dishes with a more realistic spice temperature scale. Overall a small complaint in the grand scheme of things. Service was quiet but great all around. The Thai competition seems to be strong in downtown New Orleans. Can't wait to come back!

The best Thai I have had in awhile. Amazing that it was in New Orleans. Had superb deep fried shrimp over steamed veggies. The shrimps are huge. Pricing is affordable at $15 for this appetizer. My main was excellent. Stir fried mixed vegggies with meat (can't remember if I got pork or chicken). Their rice was really good too! Beautiful / simple interiors.

Truly a beautifully designed restaurant with great atmosphere, food, and staff. The owners were so friendly and patient in talking and explaining any questions we had. This is one of the top places on my list for a quick date night!

Came here with my husband and two colleagues. They were quite busy but we were lucky to get the last table on the patio. I really enjoyed my curry panang dish! Excellent flavor. Had the edamame to start and crispy tofu (4 out of 5 on that one). Everyone else really seemed to enjoy theirs too. Would go back!

A cute lunch spot to have in the business world. Service was fast even with place being packed and food was great. Medium spice level had my face sweating a bit but that's how I like it.

We were in NOLA for a trip and were craving Thai food! Luckily, Dahla was nearby us and we decided to check this place out! Walking in, the restarting was so beautiful! It was not too loud, a perfect place for date night ;) We got drinks (I cannot remember what drinks we got, but I remember we all loved ours)! My friends ordered drunken noodles and I got Khao Soi Chicken. Both dishes were AMAZING. Enjoy these photos from my digital camera, thank you to our server for taking a photo of us too (not shown)! Check this place out if you're in NOLA!

I got stood up by my date, but the ambience was so nice, I didn't much care. Stunning chandeliers made of metallic leaves and stylish modern decor give it a zen, peaceful vibe. Props to their interior decorator! I got the drunken noodles with tofu, and they were delicious. Nice chewy noodles and extra crispy tofu, and the spice level was just what I asked for. I greatly enjoyed it and finished everything. If I had to nitpick, I would have liked a little more salt, but that was easily fixed with a salt shaker. Also, the tofu could have used more sauce. It is usually tossed in it along with the noodles and it kinda seemed like this was fried and added after? Still delicious, though. I just made sure I got some tofu and some noodles in every bite to evenly distribute that saucey flavor. Service was friendly and my food came out quickly. This place is right en route to the PO which I go to regularly, so I'll definitely go back again. I want to try the curries.

I recently visited this Thai restaurant with a friend and had an amazing time. They have a daily happy hour from 4:30-6:30 PM, offering $5 off their signature cocktails. We tried the Dahla 75, their twist on the classic French 75, and enjoyed it so much that we ordered it again. Although I usually opt for red curry, I decided to try the yellow curry based on our waiter's recommendation, and I was delighted with the choice! The waiter also suggested getting a side of rice to enjoy with the leftover curry after finishing the noodles, which was a fantastic tip. The ambiance is lovely, making it perfect for a date night. The staff was attentive and regularly checked in on us. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely be back. Note it's located in the CBD so be prepared to pay for parking.

The BEST KHAO SOI in New Orleans. It's so rich, creamy and coconut-ty. There's a nice balance of fried and soft noodles. The curry itself is so good that I usually ask for rice to eat with it. If you had to pick 1 item, I would try this! For appetizers, we usually order the crab rangoons and papaya salad and they are both delish. Other great dishes that I've had are Pad See Ew & Pad Thai. Drinks- lychee mojito- very refreshing. Desserts- mango sticky rice - sweet and warm; ube cheesecake- not too sweet, very creamy and soft. The ambiance is great for date night, fancy dinners, meetings, lunch. It's very intimate and modern. Service was very fast and the bartender, Bobby, is so personable and friendly. He is a master of drinks! There's street parking available and this is located near the stadiums so reservations are a good idea, especially during games.
